carbon credits for everyone

I went through the website of NativeEnergy, today. This organization may be based in Vermont – but their reach is global and epic! Yeah – we all know that big companies use carbon credits … or not. But what about people like you and me?

This site help you measure your own carbon footprint and then mitigate it through the purchase of carbon credits. But – wait – the money goes to ethical projects around the world. You can help address the balance by helping to fund a water project or a wind project for people in areas hit hard by poverty and climate change.

If this organization were able to raise their profile – and if people like you and me encouraged investment in carbon credits – we could make a difference.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could raise your glass of water – and someone raised theirs on the other side of the world thanks to you?
